A Spin

by Mariya Khomutova

A Spin is a hybrid theatre project that explores art, memory, and responsibility in times of war. It asks how an artist continues to speak when history fractures language itself—when the ground of meaning shifts under violence, displacement, and inherited trauma. The work is rooted in the present moment of rupture, where personal memory collides with collective catastrophe, and silence can feel as charged as speech.

Ultimately, A Spin investigates how an artist finds, loses, and reclaims a voice when history demands a response.
