PLAYWRIGHTS AROUND THE HOUSE

The Playwrights Around the House Program (PATH) is our primary new play development stream that takes epic and mythic ideas from inception to production. We invest in long term relationships with Ontario playwrights, and collaborate with them to create bespoke development processes that serve their project.

Driftwood Theatre is currently collaborating with four playwrights’ projects through retreats, mentorship, dramaturgical and grant-writing support, and workshops.

The PATH program has truly helped me develop my idea for The Onion Cellar and supported me in navigating a completely new approach to my process. The Onion Cellar is a big project, and with Driftwood’s experience and the PATH program, I believe this dream will come to life.
