Trafalgar 24

From 2004 to 2020, Driftwood produced an annual festival of new plays, created, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours. Oh, and did we mention that they were site-specific plays set within the halls and grounds of a 19th century castle?

Trafalgar 24 was the birth of Driftwood’s New Play Development program, and helped to build the foundation upon which our company is now based.

This page is a record of this incredible annual festival, which sparked the creation of over 100 short plays by Canadian playwrights. Click on the dates below for a detailed listing of plays and creators for each season.
