The Driftwood Theatre Group is immensely grateful to the myriad of people from across Ontario who contribute their time to help ensure the company's ongoing success. Our board members, front-of-house and event staff, and administrative volunteers collectively donate over 1,000 hours of their time on an annual basis!

Volunteering for Driftwood is a great way to meet new people, experience theatre at a whole new level, and contribute to the ongoing success of Ontario's most exciting, accessible theatre. Whether you would like to make a contribution of just a few hours or many, there is always a role for you to play at Driftwood.

Front of House Staff - Outdoor Summer Theatre
Front of House staff members play an important role in helping to make our audience members feel welcome
and comfortable during their Driftwood experience.  Greeters, Ushers, and Concession Sales Representatives are
always needed at each of Driftwood's 18+ venues across Ontario.  If you are outgoing, friendly, and approachable
we could use your help!

Board of Directors
As a non-profit, charitable organization, The Driftwood Theatre Group relies on its volunteer Board of Directors
for leadership, guidance and overall responsibility for the success of the company.  Being a board member is a
challenging, thorough committment with lasting rewards and benefits.  Driftwood's Board of Directors meets 
regularly six-times per year, and Board Members are also expected to serve on at least one committee, 
actively promote the company's work, and continually raise funds for programming. Driftwood is always seeking
energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working professionals from across Ontario who value the contribution of theatre 
within their community.

Committee Members
If you just don't have the time to commit to longer-term work as a board member, The Driftwood Theatre Group
has a number of committees which constantly require new members. If you have an interest in assisting with the
planning of fundraising events or development strategy (private and corporate giving), we would love to hear from
you.

Event Staff
Throughout the year, Driftwood holds a variety of small and large fundraising events for the purpose of generating
interest and funds for its projects and summer programming.  Volunteers are required to assist with a myriad of
tasks, from event set-up to front-of-house duties.
